Any veteran member of the FMB who is interested in auditioning for Field Commander for the 2005 season needs to see Mr. Keller before Spring break to get an information packet and faculty recommendation forms. Auditions will be held on Monday, April 18 at 3:15 P.M. If you have any questions, please see me. Help sessions will be scheduled on an individual basis depending on my schedule and your schedule. You could also check with past field commanders for individual help!
"For those of you who are interested, John called home last night to tell us that he is flying out to California today with the pep band for the Women's NCAA Tournament in Fresno. John played with the hockey pep band all winter. They needed another bass drummer of the women's basketball pep band so he got the call. The game is supposed to be televised Friday night. He said to look for him in the front row. GO IRISH!!!!" Update
The game is now 1:30 P.M. on Saturday.
Apparently enough ND students couldn't get out of class to take the trip so it's been cancelled. John is NOT going to California....with an aching in his heart.

For FHSCB members who couldn't stay for the rating, we got straight II's...BRAVO! An "excellent" rating is a fine accomplishment! We'll listen to tapes and go over sheets on Monday. I'm very proud of all of you :-) -Mr. K
FHSCB - thanks for a good rehearsal today. I think we made good progress today, and stand a good chance of doing well at contest! If everyone contributes their best, then the group will be at its best! You are truly an empowered organization! (see below).
Thanks to everyone that helped move the stuff back to the band room on such short notice. I really appreciate it! Thanks also to everyone for being so understanding when it took me a while to come to my senses. We got done what we needed to get done and cancelling after school was the right thing to do. See you in the AM..maybe?
