You may have already heard, but Fairbanks Middle School will not have classes on Monday, December 18 and Tuesday, December 19 due to the fact that there is no heat in the building. FES and FHS will have classes as regularly scheduled.
The December 18 Holiday Concert will progress as planned. JHCB and 6th Grade Band will obviously not have dress rehearsals. 6th grade band members (and FHSCB helpers) are to be in their seats in the gym at 6:55pm to warm up. FHSCB and JHCB members are to be in their seats with families at 7pm and ready to watch the 6th grade band.
MS band members - I know that we will not get a chance to rehearse in the gym, but we will be fine if you rely on your training and trust the rehearsal process. Let's make music to the best of our abilities, despite missing these last two rehearsals. I have no doubt you will be successful.

FMB CAMP July 30 thru August 4, 2017 Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio Check-in/Check-out Times/Procedure
Camp check in is in the NEW RESIDENCE HALL lobby on Sunday, July 30 from 3-5 PM. (Yes...the dorm is so new that it doesn't have a name yet!) See directions below to find your way there, or view the google map below. The entrance to the parking lot is 70 W. Cassilly St., Springfield, Ohio. If you get lost, call Mr. Keller's cell at 937-243-2031. You will need to check in to get your key and meal pass. You will need to bring your emergency medical form (see below), any money that you owe, and any money for supplies, etc. Check-out is immediately after the End-Of-Camp Show on Friday, August 4, which will be approximately 6 P.M. Once again the FMB has the honor of playing for both of our community Memorial Day observances. Please see report times below. Dress is Summer uniform. Repertoire is Victors, SSB, and America the Beautiful.

9:15am - warm up
9:40 - Parade begins
10:00 - memorial service begins
10:45 - play at Unionville cemeteries
11:00 - load bus/trailer
11:15 - depart for Milford
11:20 - arrive Milford Center
11:30 - warm up/line up (at the fire station)
12:00 - parade #2 begins
12:15 - play at Milford cemetery
12:30 - band members are dismissed.
Bus service between Unionville Center and Milford Center will be provided, or students can ride with parents.
Immediately after the Milford parade, band members and their families are invited to dine at the VFW at a delicious buffet lunch, provided at no cost as a thank you for your sacrifice of time on this Holiday.
