I apologize for any inconvenience this delay in delivery may have caused you and your family. This date is now set in stone and will not be changed.  Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

Mr. Keller's Conferences - Nov. 8/15

Image
As I teach in all three buildings in the district, my conference schedule is kind of strange.  I will be in my band room on November 8 from 3:30-6:30 and November 15 from 3:30-6:45 and available for walk-in conferences for band and general music students in all grades.  You need not make an appointment.  This is the only way I can be accessible to all my 5-12 band parents and 6/7 general music parents.  If you have a concern about your child's grade or progress, please feel free to drop in at these dates and times, or contact me at bkeller@fairbanks.k12.oh.us.

FHSCB Auditions 2012

Image
FHSCB auditions are a little strange this year due to the fact that the first nine weeks grading period ends a week before the football season.  So...here's the deal:
Seating audition information will be distributed on Monday, October 15.  All FHCB members need to come to the band room at 2:10 on this day to receive audition information, prepared music, scale sheets, and to sign up for an audition time.
All FHSCB members must report each day to the band room during seventh period beginning on Monday, October 22, which is the first day of the second grading period.
Auditions will take place the week of October 22 during seventh period.  All band members must sign up for an audition time.  Members will not be seated nor receive credit for the class if they do not complete a seating audition.
We will begin rehearing on Monday, October 29.  We have seven weeks to prepare for our Holiday concert on December 17, and we will need every minute of that to prepare the repertoire I have pla…
