Booster meeting 8/12

Good Monday morning!

Can you believe that the FMB is already off and running?!!  That means school is just around the corner!

First off we want to thank all of you for a successful band camp !  Check-in and Check-out were super easy this year!  Thank you all!!

We have a regularly scheduled booster meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 12 at 7pm in the band room.  We are in desperate need of bodies at this meeting so that we can nominate and vote in new officers for this season.  Without a full roster of booster members, we will be unable to continue the booster organization and that will only hurt the band kids.  

Currently, the boosters provide food, drink and chaperones for the football games and contests that the kids attend.  We also run the band hut on the football field during the home games to raise money for the band/music programs.  This money is used for band camp scholarships and we are saving for the next new set of uniforms.  Many of you signed up for drinks and/or food for the upcoming season and we greatly appreciate that.  Once we have a firm schedule of events, I will be sending out the food schedule to everyone and will follow up with you the week before to remind you.

Thank you all for everything you are willing to do.   We look forward to seeing many of you at the meetingtomorrow night in the band room at 7pm.
